After 35 years trading from 112 Glebe Point Rd I have sold the building and am in the process of becoming an online only antiquarian book seller.

I have taken about 10,000 books home with me and soon enough will have some of these back online.

Cornstalk Bookshop is exhibiting at The Annual ANZAAB Melbourne Rare Book Fair this week from Friday 7th July until Sunday 9th July. It’s being held at Wilson Hall inside the University of Melbourne.

This is our catalogue for this event.

There will be about 30 dealers coming from all states of Australia as well as a smattering of dealers from the UK and USA. This fair has developed into an outstanding event and there will be many books which you have never seen before for sale. Some you cannot afford and others you cannot afford to not buy because you will never see them again.

Make an effort and attend this fair and you will be amazed at what you see. I have been exhibiting at these fairs since the 1980s and I am constantly delighted with the books I see and handle. It’s a great chance to educate yourself further about the wonderful world of old books. Come along and talk to dealers about their treasures and meet fellow collectors
